Crystal is a librarian and a trainer, with a passion for instructional design, training, and technology. As founder of Kixal, she provides innovative, transformative training for libraries on a wide range of topics. She has provided training on projects for the Urban Libraries Council’s Edge Initiative, the Public Library Association’s Project Outcome,, TechSoup’s monthly webinar series for libraries, Infopeople’s Building an Effective Learning Culture project, and the R-Squared Conference. She has given trainings for state and regional libraries including the Georgia Public Library Service, Infopeople, the Eastern Shore Regional Library, and the Washington State Library. Jenny Rathmell, E-Learning Designer

Jenny has a lifelong interest in unearthing relevant information, creating systems and structures for preserving information, and developing methods to make information accessible to the world. She is a recent graduate of the University of Washington’s iSchool (and recovering accountant), finding solace in opportunities to help people who lack information obtain access to information that will increase their opportunities and have a positive impact on their lives.

Mary Beth is a librarian and social worker with decades of experience as a trainer, instructional designer, and web designer. Her background includes work with small business, government, higher education, non-profits, and libraries of all types. Mary Beth specializes in person-centered services, while taking a broad view of involved teams, organizations, and larger systems that impact performance and learning. She is also the founder of Learning Alchemy.



Anneal brings thoughtfully crafted digital initiatives to life. Working in tandem with their clients, they provide strategy, management, and support to help companies and organizations leverage technology to broaden and deepen their impact.
